It was continuous action and the character development was very sincere. Vargas is a pretty awesome lady, but one of the best things about the book was that it never departed from plausibility. Often this type of crime novel gets beyond reality and becomes unbelievable...not so here. The book also seems to have been meticulously researched, as every reference used checks out. All the more realistic. It leaves us hanging and wanting more! Can’t wait for the next adventure!​
